"DCC-BitSwitches™" are supplied with complete wiring diagrams and with the required number of track contacts. (G-scale outdoor contacts not included)

"DCC-BitSwitches™" function the same for all Scales N thru G however the variations of transformer voltages require that you order the correct version.

1. Version N-O     for  11 to 16 volts

2. Version G        for  16 to 24 volts

Accessories:

Contact magnets are sold separately and vary depending on the scale of trains. For trains scale N to HO the magnets can be completely hidden inside a boxcar, coal hopper etc. and need not be visible. Larger scales can use flat tape magnets on the bottom of engines if desired. 

Normally BitSwitches will be installed at the same location as the command station and power boosters however weather resistant protective boxes are required for BitSwitches that will be installed outdoors.

Warranty:

1. 1 year "DCC-BitSwitches™" are unconditionally guaranteed against failure due  to normal use or as a result of installation error.  Returned switches  will be repaired or replaced at no charge.

2. 2-5 years "DCC-BitSwitches™" will be repaired or replaced for $20 including shipping and handling.

Compatibility:

"DCC-BitSwitches™" are designed to operate with locomotives using decoders that comply with NMRA DCC Standard RP-9.2.4 as described in "Digital Command Control the comprehensive guide to DCC" Chapter 7.9 "Stopping locomotives in front of a red signal".

Any decoders that support conversion between DCC and analog DC should function satisfactorily. Lenz, Digitrax support conversion.  Some manufacturer's decoders do not support conversion i.e. Soundtraxx does not support DC and therefore require an additional Power Booster and "Set Speed Zero Packet Generator" to function with  DCC-BitSwitches.
