Your Genesis
II set has a built in decoder programmer, too!
Just place the
loco (or consist) you want to program on an isolated track section,
switch the
DB150 to program mode &
use your UT2
throttle to program the desired loco address and other operating
characteristics.

You can also
access CV's through CV99 to program things like
start voltage,
midpoint voltage, acceleration, deceleration, loadable speed tables & much
more.
Basic
Consist Operations
Genesis II set
offers "Basic" Consisting only.
To run one or
more locos on a single throttle, you simply program them all to the same
address.
To speed match
locos that do not run well together you can change each locos performance
characteristics
(V-Start,
V-Mid, V-max, Acceleration, Deceleration or Loadable Speed Tables) to get a
better match.
You can also
use a Digitrax advanced throttle like the DT400, DT300 or DT100 series throttles
to set up
universal consists and then dispatch them to the UT1 or UT2 for operation.
Expandability
Genesis II,
like all other Digitrax products, is part of a total system that is expandable.
We realize
that as you grow in the hobby of model railroading, your interests change &
grow.
When you
bought your first train set, your intention may have been to "just get your
feet wet"
or to have fun
