The Virginia & DACS R2 RailroadVoted the most interesting at the National Garden Railroad 2004 Denver Convention The
Virginia & DACS R2 was started in late 2002.
The outer loop is 100+ feet with DCC-BitSwitch automated controls
allowing automatic operation of 1-3 trains on the same line.
The inner figure eight is 120+ feet with an at grade crossing, elevated
spur line and an automated station. The inner line will operate 2-4 trains
in the automatic mode.
The DCC-Bit-Switch system allows for up to seven trains to operate hands
free. The
